OUTREACH

Food Pantry: Persons to assist in the collection and distribution of food to the needy.

Nursing Home Visitations: This ministry's purpose is to spread the love and message of Jesus Christ in the nursing home environment, providing support and encouragement by regular visits by caring Christians.

Prayer Walking: The prayer walking volunteers meet on a regular basis to go out into the community and enjoy in the experience of prayer walking. Prayer walking is simply to pray while you are walking. Time spent in prayer can be enriched as you notice God's creation and share your thoughts and feelings with the Lord as you walk.

Community Forums: Persons who are willing to provide periodic assistance in the implementation of public, social and educational forums, as well as other community projects.

10th Annual Youth Convocation "Get in the Game"- 7/17

YOUTH RETREAT- 8/27-29 Youth Retreat at Baptist Camp and Conference Center in Lebanon, NJ. Cost: $120pp. Monies are due before August 15th. Checks can be made payable to: DVBC.

Christian Education Ministry: VBS Roundup: Yeehaw! Calling all Ranch-hands to the Saddleback Ridge! Vacation Bible School is quickly approaching (June 28-July2). Workers are needed in all areas. Please check the bulletin board for job descriptions. There are positions for before, during, and after VBS. C'mon out, there's a job for everyone!

Music Ministry; Continuous Praise Dance rehearsals Fridays 6/25, 7/9 & 7/23 @ 7pm. The Children's Choir will not rehearse again until September. Have a great summer vacation. Covenant Praise rehearsal: Tues., 6/22 @ 7pm. Male Chorus rehearsal: 7/16 & 7/23. Come and be a part of these growing ministries.
